    Victory to Bajrang Bali. Bajrang is the everyday form of Sanskrit vajranga, the one whose limbs are hard as a thunderbolt; bali means strong.

    Where it comes from

    In the old akharas, wrestlers bow to Hanuman and call this out before a bout, and most akharas keep his image somewhere near the pit. It's also the cry you'll hear most in Hanuman Jayanti processions.
