History
The Juhu ISKCON temple was established in 1978 and is one of India's most-visited ISKCON centres. It is counted among the original centres personally established by Srila Prabhupada and has become an integral part of Mumbai's cultural and spiritual life.
Spiritual significance
The complex also runs the Govinda's restaurant (pure vegetarian), and its Janmashtami and Radhashtami tableaux are hugely popular among Mumbai residents.
